Status Effects
In battle your character may be hit with a 'Status Effect' or status change. This is a nasty
side effect that will put your party at a disadvantage. However, there are some good Status
Effects. Here's the list of Status Effects.
» Bad Status Effects:
+ Berserk - You have no control of your character and he/she will attack every turn.
+ Confuse - Your character will attack either a party member or enemy at random.
+ Freeze - Your character is frozen like ice and will be KO'd if attack physically.
+ Heat - Your character is KO'd if they make any moves.
+ Mini - Your character will shrink and will only cause 1 damage worth of HP.
+ Poison - Your character's HP will start to drop gradually during battle.
+ Sleep - Your character will sleep during battle and you cannot control him/her.
+ Slow - Your character's ATB bar will fill up slowly.
+ Stop - Your character cannot attack, but can be attacked.
» Very Bad Status Effects:
+ Darkness - Your character's chance of hitting an enemy will be reduced.
+ Petrify - Your character will turn to stone and can't participate in battle.
+ Silence - Your character can't use magic.
+ Trouble - If hit, the party receives more of half the damage of the troubled character.
+ Venom - A stronger version of Posion that will cause your character to stop moving.
+ Virus - Your character gets no EXP or AP after battle.
+ Zombie - Healing items will cause damage.
» Good Status Effects:
+ Auto Life - If your character dies, he/she is revived once with 1 HP.
+ Float - Your character will float and not receive Earth damage.
+ Haste - Your character's ATB bar will fill up quicker.
+ Protect - Your character receives less damage from physical attacks.
+ Shell - Your character receives less damage from magical attacks.
+ Reflect - Will reflect magic spell back onto it's caster.
+ Regen - Your character's HP will gradually be recovered.
+ Vanish - Your character can't be attacked physically.
